Sophie Westgate

 Marketing Account Manager (Client Success)

Sophie’s core goal is to operate as the lead point of contact for several retainer clients. She liaises with clients each month in order to understand the goal for the month ahead and generates content ideas that support the goal.

Sophie also helps in:

  • Overseeing the timely and successful delivery of monthly content marketing packages. This involved communicating the client focus to the wider content team and working with them to ensure all copy, graphics and scheduling is done to a high standard and on time
  • Managing the customer success journey for all active clients. Sophie loves working with customers and the wider 10X team to anticipate customer challenges and find ways to overcome them before they become a problem.

Experience and Background

Sophie loved to ‘create’ growing up, so she knew from a young age that she wanted to work within a creative industry.

Fast forward to higher education, Sophie decided to study English Literature, Language and Creative Writing at Sheffield Hallam University, where she graduated with a First-class degree in 2016 (which is why, whenever Talisa or Alison need a piece of content proofreading, they go to Sophie! She is the queen of grammar).

After finishing university, Sophie worked for a few years in the property industry before undertaking a summer internship for a cookbook publisher. After toying with the idea of journalism and publishing as career paths, she finally decided to enter the world of marketing in 2019 due to its broader scope and has never looked back.
